Sweet Sixteen Summer Portraits in Charlottesville
Sixteen years ago, I got the greatest, most important job in the world: I became a mother. When my oldest daughter was born, my grandest wish had been granted. I am in awe at the incredible privilege of raising her (and her sisters) and to have this front row seat to her life’s unfolding. She understands me in an uncanny way, maybe like only a person who was once physically a part of me can. But also, I am astounded by our glaring differences. Her strengths in areas that I still struggle with are especially impressive! Her grasp on her own worth and how she hopes to change the world amaze me. There are no words to convey how proud I am of her!
