Teenager Birthday Portraits in Charlottesville

The beauty I see in this teenage girl shines outward from her soul. The ridiculously fast pace at which she is growing up astounds me; But here we are: thirteen years old!  Time has spiraled out of control, passing at lightning speed. Every fleeting second with my sweet girl is so precious.  The closest I can get to freezing time is capturing moments with my camera. Thankfully, at least these moments are safe from time’s grasp. Even through my lens, I can hardly believe my eyes: What a joy she is, what a light she exudes…and what a tremendous, incredible gift it is to be able to witness her growing up.
